The Lake District is one of my favourite places in the UK and somewhere I always look forward to returning to. So whether it’s low level walks, mountain hikes, wild swimming locations, waterfalls or general adventure you’re looking for, the Lake District has it all. Mountain hikes in the Lake District
One of the Lake District’s best scrambles; Blencathra via Sharp Edge
Sharp Edge in the Lake District is one of the best Grade 1 scrambles leading towards the summit of Blencathra. This 7.2km route takes you over the exposed ridge and includes some tips for scrambling as well as a link to download the route to your phone.
